So...There's this interesting looking movie that's soon to come out and it's called Avatar. *points at Journal Title* Recently a lot of the movie producers have been making movies out of books and old comic books and what not.

My question here is: "Is the movie Avatar based off of a comic book, or any other sort of written word(or drawn? =^_^=)"

I wold like it if my "fans" / watchers(even though there are only a few...) could help me figure out if the movie Avatar IS based of of something.
